Jo H

P.S I just need you to sign my homework, I will be there as soon as I can
hello carol & david,

hurricane gustav has just diverted from new orleans and has hit new buckenham instead.
have just driven from norwich southwards on a11, and was forced to stop due to high winds and rain!!

looks as though you've travelled half the planet already; by the way which one of you is pretending to be thelma and which one is doubling up for louise

norwich drew 1-1 with birmingham yesterday, and i can honestly say it was the best 90 minutes i had seen for years; total commitment, some fantastic build ups, skill and speed was second to none; all we need is a goalscorer now!

apart from all that, best wishes to you both, and as is said "you come back y'all"

Still heading west, got to Sioux Falls - only 900 miles to Montana.

Had a great time at our first Rodeo.

Dave's thinking of taking up a new hobby! What do you all think?

Went to the Minasota State Fair. Dave was in his element with all the horse riding and bulls.

Hi Carol and Dave,

We had a great time in Florida despite getting rather wet at times due to that tropical storm you obviously heard about! Feeling really yuk at mo adjusting to uk time. Esme not sure when morning and night are either which doesn't help!! Look forward to hearing from you soon with all your travel news. Lots of Love take care xx

Had a great hike to Minniehaha falls where Longfellow wrote The song of Hiawatha. Then treked to the banks of the Mississippi river. Saw some wonderful wildlife on the way including chipmunks, black woodpeckers and deer.

This is a real picture of the Amtrak train. It was two storey high.

Hi David and Carol,
You guys look like you are having a great time, all is well back home, I will send copies of your blog to the others. Take care Maureen xx
Very exciting, getting the Amtrk Train today to Minneapolis. Had a brilliant day yesterday our last day in Chicago. Spent the day cycling the shore line of lake Mitchigan. Saw some fantastic sights that you wouldnt normally see from the city. Thats all for now.

We had trains everywhere. This was the overhead line which we used a couple of times. Views of the city were brilliant.

This is the Sears building said to be taller than the Rockerfella in NYC. Although all the days were in the 90's we took this shot at 4pm, the only cloud that day.

After a greyhound bus journey of 19 hours and 900 miles we arrived in the most beautiful city. Chicago is a wonderful place full of the most impresive gardens and buildings. We have meet the most friendly people and have had some great food.
